Privacy Policy

Clipboard Manager: Easy Copy & Paste (“the extension”) is designed to be private by default. This policy explains exactly what happens with your data. If you have questions, email vipusa8400@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing is collected by us. The extension does not send any of your data to us or any third party. There is no account, no login, and no telemetry.

The extension stores the following only on your own device in Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local:

• Text you copy on webpages (clipboard history)
• Snippets, notes, tags, and settings you create
• Temporary image clipboard entries (auto-deleted after 1 hour)

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect personal information.
• We do not collect browsing history.
• We do not collect passwords or credit-card fields — the extension explicitly skips these.
• We do not use analytics or crash reporting services.
• We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, or advertising profiles.

Where your data lives

All data stays locally on your device in your browser's storage. Uninstalling the extension removes it.

Optional Chrome Sync

If you turn on Chrome Sync inside the extension (it is off by default), selected items are stored in your own Google Account's chrome.storage.sync. This uses Chrome's built-in sync — not our servers. We never see this data.

Selling data

We do not sell, rent, license, or share your data. Ever.

Third-party services

The extension does not contact any third-party service. No fonts, scripts, or images are loaded from external servers. QR codes are generated locally.

Children's privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
